I think we’ve realized this somewhere along the space and time continuum a few years back, that I really love this thing called Doctor Who and guess what Pink guys and dolls? Season 11 is coming! *yay!*
Okay, unless you’re a sci-fi fan, have some sort of anger towards David Tennant because you think he’s an idiot for leaving, pay attention to all things Barty Crouch Jr., and/or watch BBC America, I do not, by any stretch of the imagination, believe that this post is for you.

Well, my little Whovians, you won’t be seeing double anytime soon because if you missed it the first time around (like I did), the BBC has come out with a new logo to usher in the era of Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor.
Everyone knows the orange & black Doctor Who logo. It looks like this science fiction, all seeing eye, reminiscent of Sauron from Lord of the Rings. It’s also synonymous with the 10th Doctor.
Well, with the exit of David Tennant (have I told you how foolish I think David is? grr), Steve Moffat and the folks in the art department of the BBC have decided to really stay true to “out with the old and in with the new.”

Okay, this is just silly, endearing and rather cute. It will probably have no value to anyone unless they are a Doctor Who, David Tennant, John Barrowman, Torchwood or Proclaimers fan… or unless they just find this sort of stuff amusing.

Well folks, we’ve reached the end… the “End of Time” that is and the Doctor has officially left the TARDIS.
While, our friends across the pond witnessed David Tennant officially exit, the longest-running science-fiction television show in history, on New Years Day. The rest of us, in the US of A, don’t get to see Matt Smith regenerate to the 11th Doctor until tonight, January 2 at 8:00 p.m. on BBC America.
The BBC released stats stating that 10.4 million people watched Tennant’s exit as the Time Lord Victorious on New Year’s Day. According to their overnight stats, at the climax of the show 10.8 million were sitting down to view Matt Smith take the reigns of the Tardis.

First there was Ellen, then some Queer as Folk, Will & Grace, The L Word – and now there is Torchwood?
I’ve been reading a lot of buzz lately about the UK’s hit sci-fi drama, which airs on BBC America. A spin-off of the infamous Doctor-Who, Torchwood features a romantic gay couple as the hero and hero.
I like to think of the show as a slapstick version of The X-files-drugged-up-on-Roswell meeting in the middle of some sort of Star-Trek-Doctor-Who hybrid.
