Pre-Fall 2012: Louis Vuitton

“It’s a Small World” from Disney was playing at the Louis Vuitton presentation.

It’s rather fitting when you think about it as very few brands (save Chanel, Dior etc.) have the global reach that Louis Vuitton has.

For the label’s pre-Fall 2012 collection, Julie de Libran, LV’s Design Director, expanded the traditional look and feel of the label with a collection that is a little bit more couture, a little bit more 1960s and a little bit more military-inspired than the usual tones undertaken under the leadership of Marc Jacobs (who has overseen the House since 1997.)
