“Fashions fade, style is eternal.” –Yves Saint Laurent

As fashionistas across the world are dressed in their New Year’s best, it will be exactly 350 days since we rang in 2010.

There are many reasons why that is significant. For one, it marks the end of a decade – the first decade in a new millennium as a matter of fact. But what’s most important to every fashion connoisseur are the remarkable strides made within the industry.

It’s many of these fashion innovations and trends that will influence the glittery frocks, accessories and mile high stilettos seen at tonight’s celebrations. What happened in 2010 will continue to shape the culture fashion as we enter this new year and new beginning; – and truthfully will shape all of fashion’s future in someway.
