
Many brands are betting on iPhone apps to keep their customer base happy.
Recently Gucci launched a very nicely produced app available in eight languages.
It offered travel advice for cities relevant to the brand’s history such as Portofino and Milan, plus glossy, magazine-like features showing how their products are made, interviews with designers, social networking live feeds and robust e-commerce options.
They sell it as an “all-encompassing experience for the luxury brand’s enthusiasts†and it is certainly a well-judged app. [Read more...]
