“And their voices were soft,
And their words inviting…I dreamed a dream in time gone by,
When hope was high and life, worth living.
I dreamed that love would never die…”

I love books.
I blog about them and I think words are these powerful objects that make the world turn around and around.
When I blogged about the e-book being the death of print, a little piece of me died inside. When I tweeted and tweeted about how amazing the new Nook from Barnes & Noble was looking, a little bit more of me died inside and then I read “Beyond Borders: The Future Of Bookselling†and I felt like I got a little bit of my own back.

According to LIFE, CNN, Squidoo and a few other folks, Harry Potter costumes [Read more...]

Salazar Slytherin's locket, and cover of the UK adult version of Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows. A few jewelry making Potter fans, have made replicas of this piece.
“It is a curious thing, Harry, but perhaps those who are best suited to power are those who have never sought it. Those who, like you, have leadership thrust upon them, and take up the mantle because they must, and find to their own surprise that they wear it well.”
- Albus Dumbledore to Harry Potter in Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling.
