What do Sex and the City and Kotex have in common?

Emmy-winning and Oscar-nomiated fashion designer, Patricia Field.

Kotex has been through a bit of rebranding in the past year after survey results found that women were tired of the institutional experience of pads.

Ditching the stereotypical white and sterile product packaging, Kotex opted in favor of more bold colors and sleek black casing.

The new packaging has separated Kotex from the competition, and their latest contest is set to do the same.

When studying the history of music and looking back at a timeline of significant moments atonal aficionados often recall tender moments like when Sinatra slide across a smoky Vegas stage, Woodstock ’69, Michael Jackson’s Solo Glove, the debut of Hip Hop, Lady Gaga’s Meat Dress and so on.

But when dredging up the archives of Music History going forward, another moment unlike any before will highlight the context of time and change:  12.25.2010 / The Gorillaz release their new, highly anticipated album, entitled ‘The Fall’ – available on their homepage as a free ‘App’ download.

Surviving in a Design World: What Every Student Should Know

Each year, countless students enter into highly competitive design programs in universities around the world with the intention to develop an invaluable skill set that ‘supposedly’ lays a strong creative foundation and will help them to become better professionals.
