So following the humpty-Twittery that fell down on the wall and broke with a fall â€“ Facebook bought FriendFeed for a reported cool $50m yesterday. Thatâ€™s the big news of this week anyway. That is unless someone springs on me tomorrow that Apple bought out Mashable, â€œAppable,â€ and Twitter merged with Skype, â€œTwype.â€ But for now itâ€™s only this new â€œFeedFaceâ€ creation (haha, you like that, I know you do!)
The thing is, considering Iâ€™m in a Brave New World kinda mood today, instead of pollinating the little outlets, it seems like the big bees are swallowing them whole.

Will they or won’t they?
According to a CNN Blog Post, the US Government has asked Twitter to KEEP RUNNING during the Iran crisis. That would mean no scheduled maintenance as originally planned for 2 p.m. Pacific Time today.
â€œIt is a very good example of where technology is helping,â€ the official said.

Earlier today, Twitter announced a scheduled maintenance for 12:45 a.m. ET to last about an hour and a half.
While, this would have meant the late night hours for people in the United States, who are going off to bed, watching television and getting off their computers â€“ this actually, meant maintenance would be scheduled for Tuesday morning (June 16) in Iran when more activity is bound to occur.
Less than an hour later, users of the social networking site were protesting the maintenance with the #hashtags â€œ#NoMaintenanceâ€ and â€œ#NoTwitterMaintenance.â€
Taking everything into consideration, from the Huffington Post to Mashable to CNN etc., Twitter, together with its host, NTT America, have decided to reschedule for Tuesday afternoon, which alternatively would be the middle of the night in Iran.
