HBO x Bumble Invite BFFs To $30m Manhattan Brownstone


The Activation

This August, HBO targeted its millennial audience by hosting a pop-up event with Bumble at a $30 million townhouse in Lower Manhattan.

From August 15-16, users of Bumble BFF (for women looking for a new bestie) and Bumble (the dating vertical of the the app) were invited to a gorgeous brownstone nestled in the heart of Greenwich Village as a part of HBO’s #StayHomeToTheMovies.



The brownstone included 10 screening rooms across multiple floors all branded around HBO’s campaign where guests experienced treats, drinks and film favourites.

Roots And Wings: Miranda Lambert Partners With Ram Trucks, Easton Corbin Extends Contract

Continuing a partnership that started in late 2014, Miranda Lambert stars in Ram Truck’s latest commercial with her song “Roots and Wings.”

Lambert wrote the song exclusively for Ram’s campaign and Chrysler Group has stated that both the country singer and track were chosen to take the brand beyond their core audience, while still hitting home.

“This campaign is actually designed to broaden the appeal of both Ram and Miranda, beyond our core audiences as we connect with our respective fans in new, meaningful ways,” said Olivier Francois, Chrysler Group’s chief marketing officer.

“In simple terms, the target for our ‘Roots and Wings’ campaign is not a single target. Men, women, all ages, and sure, we hope the millions of die-hard fans Miranda has will like it too.”

Dance More, Drink Slow: Heineken and Armin van Buuren Present ‘The Experiment’

Well, now, this is pretty cool!

Global beer giant Heineken has teamed up with EDM royalty Armin van Buuren to launch a global responsible drinking campaign called “Dance More, Drink Slow.”

Filmed at Mansion Nightclub in Miami, Florida, tied-in with DJ Armin van Buuren’s new music track, “Save My Night,” a short film was released on January 6 entitled “The Experiment,” to promote moderate drinking.

The Rekall of Total Recall

I live in Gotham City and we have strange things that happen here.

No, really.

We do.

So about a month ago when I started seeing these strange adverts for something called ‘Rekall’ with their whole “Tell us your fantasy. We’ll make it real” slogan, I was kind of confused.

I imagined it had to be some gimmick by Madame Tussauds or a weird strip club advertising some type of mind-blowing (no pun intended) fantasies.

Heck, for all I knew, it was some odd country club trying to be a combination of Nectar Island meets A Small World in scene of augmented reality on Innovations-crack a la Disney Orlando. [Read more…]
