Growing up in Spain I have been no stranger to Magnum Ice Cream.
It’s a favorite among a lot of classics in Europe and the one ice cream brand that always had an intense marketing presence internationally.
As a kid, I never realized, but as I got older I noticed the Magnum Ice Cream posters at the airports, pubs, malls and such were actually pretty racy and depicted quite a sexiness about them.
Even though it’s only ice cream, the campaigns have always been very sexual.

Not too long ago there was no such thing as Social Media Marketing, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin or any others you can think of.
My first year in college was the fall of the year 2000 at St. John’s University where I eventually declared my major to be in Communication Arts.
Ironically at the beginning of my journey, the only communication I was doing was either in person or through my dorm room land line.
The biggest thing happening online was AIM and instead of updating my status, I was leaving away messages.

Christian Louboutin and Yves Saint Laurent are two brands synonymous with luxury.
Both are fabulous in their own right and very coveted by women all over the world including the most famous of celebrities.
So why would YSL blatantly take Christian Louboutin‘s signature red sole and put it on their shoes?
In my opinion, if YSL was trying to take on the genious of the red sole and apply it to their line, maybe a good suggestion could be a different color?
Yves Saint Laurent has already dabbled with this idea using the very vibrant color yellow and I like it!
It definitely gives the shoe a certain trendy style that resembles that of Christian Louboutin’s signature look. [Read more...]

What do you think of when hearing the words ‘Justin Bieber’?
My mind immediately darts to a crowd of screaming tweens trampling over each other as they tweet death threats to Selena Gomez.
I’m pretty sure, the people over at OPI Nail Lacquer thought the exact same thing when creating the new line for their sister company ‘Nicole by OPI’ cleverly named ‘The One Last Lonely Girl Collection‘.
I can’t think of anyone better to endorse the pop culture inspired collection than the Biebs himself.
