Orglamix 01 {Beautirati} Orglamix Cosmetics Review

Again, this is another review that is a long time coming and I promise it’s worth the wait! Cheri over at Orglamix was kind enough to send me some samples of her eyeshadows to review for the Little Pink Book PR and they’re lovely!

Unlike a lot of previous mineral makeup reviews — considering the crazy stories running around the internet — this review is segmented and broken down into more categories. I hope you find it helpful :)

Colours I was sent:-

Orglamix 03 {Beautirati} Orglamix Cosmetics Review

  • Lavande
  • Fig <—- Love this one
  • Cashmere
  • Citron
  • Absinthe
  • Mandarin
  • Olive
  • All Spice
  • Moonstone <— Love this one too!
  • Sugar Loaf
  • Cherry Blossom
  • Slate
  • Jasmine
  • Pink Pepper
  • Eucalyptus
  • Spark <— Love this one three!

Packaging:-

  • It was so cute! I got my eyeshadows in a custom Chinese take out box with paper strips inside.

Texture:-

It’s smooth and I really enjoyed that aspect of it.

Wet or Dry:-

I don’t normally use shadows, mineral or not, wet but I decided to do that this time to try it out. I’m really pleased with the results. For all of my looks below, the shadows are used wet and just blended out a little with the dry shadows.

Looks:-

  • Look One:-

Lavande, Fig and Cashmere

Eyeliner – Urban Decay Ink for Eyes

  • Look Two:-

This one was hard to blend. Probably because I didn’t have a clear picture in my head of what I was doing, lol. I just took the colours and slapped them on.

I used Citron, Absinthe and  Mandarin

Eyeliner – MAC Fluidline

  • Look Three:-

This was when I discovered that I had a natural light setting on my camera. So I started using it and it captured the closeups so much better!

Olive, Allspice, Moonstone, Sugar Loaf and very little of the Cherry Blossom colour.

This look reminds me of camouflage.

  • Look Four:-

Ugh, this look was a nightmare to do. I absolutely hated it at one point. This is why I ended up using four colours instead of three. My original idea was refusing to blend. Anyway, I took the four colours and I blended, blended blended. :)

The eyeliner is black, though it looks dark brown in the pictures, I don’t know why. But yea it’s black!

Cherry Blosson, Slate, Jasmine and Pink Pepper.

Eyeliner: MAC Fluidline

  • Look Five:-

OMG, this is my favourite! It’s like a swanky, spacey, futuristic colourful set of bliss on my face. :)

Eucalyptus, Moonstone and Spark

Eyeliner: MAC Fluidline in Black track on the bottom (closet to the lashes), then traced a tad on the outside of that with Urban Decay Ink for Eyes in Binge.

HOW? The picture below shows you how I did it. The “I” looking pink letters show you the different liners and the “Arrows” are my eyelashes, in case you can’t tell. It’s on the bottom and top lip. :)

Lips: MAC Lavender Whip lipstick, with Blue Memory lipglass on top!

Cheeks:- MAC Breezy blush with Barbie Loves MAC bronzing highlight powder on top on apples of cheeks

And there you go!

I enjoyed the colours that I was given  and I really liked using them wet. the colours were bright and it was very easy to use/blend.
