GoogleWave Im Giving Away 20 Google Wave Invites

**Update: December 3, 2009 — I have 20 invites to give away, instead of 8. Which will bring my total availability to give out to 24. from where I started**

I got a wave in my Google Wave today that gives me the opportunity to give eight other people the opportunity to try out the Google Wave preview.

I’m going to give them away by making you interact with me on my blog.

How you may ask?

I’m job hunting for a position in Advertising, Social Media and/or Public Relations (preferably an agency, technology, fashion, entertain or consumer.)

What does that have to do you with you?

You can help me.

Excellent :)

[[[ NOTE: When all of the invitations have been given out this post WILL be updated to reflect that. Right now, they're all available. ]]]

The first set of people to post below (or e-mail me)

  • a legitimate HR recruiter
  • w/available position for someone at my level (rough resume here at http://sashahalima.com or LinkedIN)
  • in New York City or South Florida

gets one of the eight.

It’s that simple.

Take your time and I’m not rushing you to help me find something crappy.

Full-time, part-time, does it matter?

Yes.

I am looking for a full-time, non-internship level job.

IF, the position is part-time, contract or freelance, it must be:

  • paid
  • more than 15-hours a week
  • NOT internship or work-experience level
  • think of it as a full-time job, with less hours etc.

What type of job?

  • Advertising/Public Relations/ or Social Media
  • preferably in an agency or large company
  • Sector? — fashion/beauty, consumer, sports, entertainment or technology
  • I’ll also do Copywriting
  • full-time

How many jobs do I have to send you?

  • ONE legitimate position.

You get

Google Wave.

I get job leads.

Don’t forget two things:-

  • To tell me your Gmail e-mail address.
  • I’ll send the invitation after I check out the job lead to make sure it’s real etc.,

Thank you
& I hope we both get something out of this,

Sasha :)

  • haha smart! I wonder if other people are doing this too since Google banned the "sale" of Google Wave invites.

I hope you get a job outta this! :)
  • Hi Anny,

I hope so too! I've gotten two great job leads today already, and that's two people who got Wave invites!

I'm not making $$$ off of this at all. It's strictly "Let's Help Sasha Get a Job" :)

    Thank you for your post.

I have visited a nice tutorial about google wave here http://freshnewz.co.cc/
  • Use tweetdeck to filter these three hashtags by location and industry specific keywords:

5th most common hashtag in Twitter: http://hashtags.org/tag/jobs/messages

8th most common hashtag on Twitter: http://hashtags.org/tag/tweetmyjobs/messages

11th most common hashtag on Twitter:

Be aware that many of the jobs you're looking for may be with virtual companies, so limiting the search by geography could rule out some interesting opps.

Best of luck on your job search!
