There are a few time, less than I can count on a hand, when I got so involved in an advertisement, that my heart clenched. There have been even fewer times, I was fooled by an advertisement into thinking that it was a not a consumer advert, but rather, an advert for a show or movie.

Below is an amazing commercial by Grey Thailand from 2008:-

The music is Pachabel’s “Canon in D,” a very popular wedding song.

While, I still wouldn’t buy Pantene hair products (I’m a dedicated Matrix girl), if you were trying to sell me a violin or a tutoring package, even a insurance policy — I might just jump on board.

I love the drama, the use of colour (‘mean’ girl in the red dress, etc.) and of course the movement of the hair.

The message?

No matter who you are, where you come from or what you do — yes, YOU CAN SHINE.

Love it!

Grey created something sleek, epic and absolutely fantastic, wouldn’t you say?
