For this challenge each designer picks a location that has inspired Mr. Kors and designs based on that. Holy crap, could it be? Michael AND Nina? Finally! Guest judge Milla Jovovich? Yes, yes, yes!!! She’s an amazing judge. Lifetime, please just keep that combination. I should scratch this recap post and just do a top 10 quotes. Milla’s priceless “If this was ‘Project I didn’t mind it’” quip would be on there.

Althea – St. Tropez. Chic, well tailored, and no complaints. I love the shorts. She’s safe.

Nick – Greece. Tomboy & fabulous is his inspiration. Ugh, not good. Doesn’t like to work with jersey? What designer doesn’t like using it? That’s crazy. I’m not sure that his outfit fits into the inspiration. Love the top, but not the bottom. The judges didn’t like it. Michael harpooned him for walking into Mood and picking out grey menswear and white jersey fabrics. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I wish he wasn’t out.

Gordana – New York. Gorgeous beaded neck. Maybe she should design jewelry! I wish the dress was simpler, but I still like it. It’s very rich. Nina liked it. They didn’t love her self-deprecating attitude. Safe.

Chris – Santa Fe. Loved the impression of Michael. “I wanna like it, I just don’t.” That should go on a list of top 10 phrases. He has a lot to prove in this challenge. He is proof of how easy it is to stumble on the right or wrong side of chic. The judges didn’t get Santa Fe from the outfit. Safe.

Logan – Hollywood. Going casual. Maybe a bit too casual. I see good basics, but it’s too basic.  Kors said it, “They’re clothes, not fashion.”

Carol – Palm Beach. Didn’t buy enough fabric for mess-ups. It’s nice, but it might not be enough for this challenge. It’s a bit calm for Palm Beach, but I love it. It’s glamorous and flexible, which is what you need in Florida. Safe.

Irina – Aspen. 3 pieces. Pants, cowl neck, fur vest. Tim seems skeptical. It’s classic and sexy. The pants are amazing, and I love the back. She did the fantasy well.

Oh, did we just see Althea say she hates Logan in next weeks preview?! Sorry, but I’m not that into the Model of the Runway today. Bleh. Lifetime, you’re killing me!
