Glittersniffer is a well-known brand of cosmetics on Etsy. Lela, who owns Glittersniffer, stands by the fact that her stuff is highly pigmented and bright. So bright it should be illegal…and it is.

I have to tell you, as someone who was always into the commercial, department store-bought makeup — these recent, mineral, homemade, custom, vegan cosmetics I’ve been coming across — especially, on Etsy, are blowing the typical ones out of the water.

From I Touch Roses, to now, Glittersniffer, in terms of pigment — I’m impressed. These brands go beyond the issues I had with my Stila Barbie palette, for example, which I had to layer and “edit” to get the desired look. I think that says a lot about them.

Swatch — bottom to top:
Right — 24K, Sea Monkey, Sammy Jo, Echo
Left — Crushed Diamonds, Marlene, Shwag

Eyeshadows:
24K — it reminds me of Indian gold
Sea Monkey — more pigmented than I Touch Roses Walk in Beauty shadow, but as sparkly as Honey Lust from MAC
Sammy Jo — It reminds me more of a fantasy-ridden, glitter grape! I really like this. I wouldn’t wear it out to work or anything, but out and about…heck yes!
Echo –this is a really pretty shiny shimmer. I layered it on for the ’swatch,’ but if you use a little on your eyes, it’s much more sheer and against the camera flashes it looks almost glossy
Crush Diamonds — it’s a subtle white
Marlene — neon orange
Shwag — it’s a lime, neon green with lots of shimmer. It’s almost foil like when it goes on. I think it would make a great eyeliner as well.
