    Yes, I agree, it seems to be far too avant garde for your tastes. However, I don't think it is because it is messy or unblended. I think it is because you don't understand makeup. There's makeup you wear on the street and makeup you do as art. {I'm the queen of natural makeup, but even I get the point of fun makeup and theatrical/creative makeup.}

    Imagine if you blended all these colors, it would look like a mess! You can't blend something like this. I'm not sure if you pay attention to runways, but a few seasons ago, some beautiful water color and tearflow makeup was used in several shows not far off from this.

    You wouldn't tell Cirque du Soleil artists to blend their makeup, so why are you telling this makeup artist to do it?

    May be too avant garde for my taste. Seems messy and lacks serious blending. Its just kinda all over the place but I guess thats the look? Not sure I would expect this from a pro MUA but maybe a young girl playing with makeup. I guess thats the good thing about makeup, you play with it, venture out, get creative and if it backfires; wash off and start over. Great attempt though. The colors you used are highly pigmented!

    Wow, someone who is mean and stupid - what a surprise! At least if you're going to be a snippy little holier-than-thou, do it for real and LEARN BASIC SPELLING AND GRAMMAR. We know who the real "young girl" is. The 'Skittles' look is pretty obviously meant for clubbing, FaerieWorlds, belly dancing, or the stage. And I think it is AMAZING! :o)

  • I was thinking of summer when I was doing it. Afterwards, Keira said it reminded her of Skittles! :)
