Tim Burton's Alice (Mia Wasikowska)
Through the looking glass we go…the teaser trailer for Tim Burton’s much anticipated “Alice in Wonderland” was released leaked today. I wonder what Lewis Carroll would say if he were alive today.
Burton is such an untraditional director, even the strange seem stranger with him. I’m excited to see how this will pan out. Especially since some of my favourite actors and actresses are in this film. I love Anne Hathaway, I am in love with Johnny Depp, can’t get enough of Alan Rickman and adore Helena Bonham-Carter. Should be fabulous…I hope.

For those of you who do not know, “Alice in Wonderland” was originally written by Lewis Carroll and is about a young girl named Alice who falls down a rabbit hole. She find herself in another world, very different from her own, where nothing is as it seems. Through her journey she meets a set of colourful characters namely the Red Queen (Bonham Carter), the White Queen (Hathaway), the Mad Hatter (Depp) and a Cheshire Cat (Rickman), who seems like it came from some opium-LSD infested trip. Though in this film, I think the makeup department’s work on Depp’s Hatter, could give the Cheshire a run for its fur. Lordy.
