IMG 9446 {iStyle} Newsflash: Holt Renfrews Blogger Tribute

By: Jenn Ortiz, guest blogger

Just a little newsflash. Remember how we said that bloggers are becoming more valid and relevant in the fashion world? Case and point, these windows at Holt Renfrew’s are spotlighting a few of the top fashion bloggers.

My favorite of these windows is inspired by Garance (displayed above). I think they captured the feel of her blog, her style, and her images. Below you’ll find a photo for each window.

Bryan Boy inspired window. A bit plain, don’t you think? I believe the other locations’ windows are a bit more elaborate, but still not as elaborate as I expected for his character.

The I Want, I Got window. I prefer the other window displayed on her blog from another Holt Renfrew location. Check it out on the link at the bottom.

The Sartorialist window complete with Scott Schuman’s face plastered on mannequin. I’m not quite sure why only his mannequin got a face. Perhaps the stylist has a crush?

Jak & Jil inspired window. I’m very fond of  this one, because of the photographer model relationship represented in it.

You can see more images here and here (which is also where some of the above images came from.) Also, Jane of Sea of Shoes will be designing shoes for Urban Outfitters. The first pair hits stores July 15th.
