I would never do that to one of my commenters, even one who harassed me. Ok, there are two cases--one is then they were making some sort of threat against me and I thought it was reasonable to inform the police (something that suggested they knew where I lived, who I was, how to find me). And two if they were making a threat against someone else, like their boss. And that threat sounded credible enough that I didn't want to risk it.<br><br>But aside from those two extreme cases, I have simply deleted and in some cases banned commenters.
