A little off topic but LTTE these days are often very hard to get published because it is so easy to send one. The advent of email makes it so that everyone has a voice and the editors are drowning in the deafening roar. I suppose these days one is lucky to get even an automated response.
Beside wanting to voice an opinion or pushing a PR piece, LTTE on the web are (or have become) for customer service. I have a quick blog post that really should be titled, Quick! I Need Some Penicillin, Newsweek Gave Me A Virus!
I wish I could believe LTTE were a way for us to truly voice our opinions, but with so many people shouting, it is hard to be heard.
