Surf’s Up! Indulge In National Tequila Day With Patrón Citrónge Mango

Happy National Tequila Day 🙂

And to celebrate we partnered with our friends over at Patrón to share some of their favorite cocktail recipes featuring the latest release in their portfolio, Patrón Citrónge Mango Liqueur.

Below are just a few fabulous mixology fixes from some of the hottest rooftops and bars in Manhattan.

Sí!

Mad Mango

Created by Lucinda Sterling, Middle Branch (NYC)

  • 1¼ oz Patrón Citrónge Mango
  • ¾ oz Roca Patrón Silver
  • ¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • ¾ oz Simple Syrup
  • 2 Full Drops Habanero Bitters
  • Club Soda or Seltzer

  1. Pour the ingredients into a shaker, shake with ice to ensure coldness (but not to dilute), then strain into a Collins glass over ice.
  2. Add club soda or seltzer, and garnish with a mango spear and sliced bell pepper (or lime wedge if desired).

Rooftop Margarita

  • 2 oz Patrón Reposado
  • 1 oz Patrón Citrónge Mango
  • 1 oz Strawberry purée
  • ½ oz Simple syrup
  • ½ oz Lime juice

  1. Add all ingredients to a rocks or Collins glass.
  2. Shake and strain over fresh ice.
  3. Garnish with a fresh strawberry if desired.

El Califa

  • 1oz Patrón Citrónge Mango
  • 1 oz Amaro Montenegro
  • ¾ oz Lemon Juice
  • Dry Cider (alcoholic)

  1. Rim a Collins glass with Ras El Hanout Salt* and fill with ice.
  2. Shake ingredients separately and top with cider.

*Ras El Hanout Salt
Combine 2 oz of Ras El Hanout spice blend with 4 oz of Kosher Salt

Mango de Manila

  • 1 oz Patrón Silver
  • 1 oz Patrón Citrónge Mango
  • 1 oz Nigori Sake
  • ¼ oz Coconut Cream
  • Dash Orange Bitters
  • Cucumber for Garnish

  1. Combine all in a mixing glass and shake well.
  2. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with cucumber slice.
