FW14: Desigual Goes 70s with Candice Swanepoel

With Karolina Kukova in attendance and Victoria’s Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel opening and closing the show, the Desigual Fall/Winter 2014 runway show made a splash.

Filled with form fitting jersey mini-dresses, flowing maxi-dresses (with 70s-inspired prints), metallic festive wear and chic black and white graphic coats, the collection whisked attendees away to its Barcelona roots.

Inspired by the love of their hometown, the collection reflects the metropolis’ overlooked curiosities and magic—and tempts them to fall in love again with the places and things they think they know, but have more to offer than what lives in their minds.

Violet, navy, hunter green, burgundy, tawny were draped and tailored into minimalist simplicity radiating positivity in sumptuous jacquard, tulle and wool.

The brand considered is FW14, a personal collection that reflects the enduring optimism found in Barcelona.
