Mixing military basics with classic prep school styling, Todd Snyder’s SS13 menswear collection was nothing short of a desert caravan of textiles and clean edges.
Loosely inspired by the gear worn by the Sahara-mapping cartographer in “The English Patient” (hello, Lord Voldemort!), the collection plays with subtle sartorial tensions by mixing warm neutrals with sun faded reds and oranges.
We’re pretty much loving the olive cotton metal suit, grey heather classic t-shirt tied together with a blue micro chambray sports shirt:
Keeping in line with the classic, Snyder brings back the vest in white:
And while, Snyder says “The English Patient” inspired him, we can’t stop thinking A Separate Peace.
