Leisure Meets Luxury at the W Hoboken

Leisure meets luxury at the W Hoboken when 70+ summery-clad ladies and gents boarded an endless champagne-gasmic yacht and set sail around the New York Habour.

In partnership with Gilt City Events, the inaugural cruise took patrons from Chelsea Piers to the W Hoboken’s lush Chandelier Room (225 River Street, Hoboken, New Jersey — mind you this was my second time in New Jersey save Electric Daisy Carnival) with the likes of Avicii, Tiësto and Kaskade booming in the backdrop.

With unlimited cocktails available at one’s whim, the limitless brunch menu consisted of sugar, spice and everything nice.

With ample stations setup for pure gluttonous enjoyment (waffle, carving, omelet, pasta), there was no real need to try the raisin-walnut french toast, the decadent mini-cupcakes, cured meats, artisanal cheeses, chicken cacciatore, house-made lasagna or ceviche – but it didn’t mean one passed the opportunity.

The view of the Manhattan skyline with DJ Chris Bachmann spinning-out Calvin Harris and remixed Madonna ’twas bliss.

I can’t tell you the last time, I had such a lengthy, yet completely delectable, date with Moët & Chandon and oui, it was worth it.

The only thing missing?

Perhaps a larger tummy to take in all the delectable delights.
