For Fall/Winter 2012 Tracy Reese’s collection oozed a natural street-inspired style with strong shoulders, bold tones and a variety of textures, embellishments and patterns.
A sponsor of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, TRESemmé was on hand with stylist Jeanie Syfu who created a textured bed-head look meant to compliment and mimic the style of the clothing.
“The hair is inspired by the mood of the collection – an accessible look that reflects a natural street style.
The clothes are meant to be worn by normal people and when the complete look comes together, it sends a head-to-toe message.â€

Brazilian born Carlos Miele is one of my favourite designers and I was in absolute awe at his Fall/Winter 2012 show this season at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
For his collection, inspired by the south winds of Rio, Miele enlisted Rodney Cutler of Redken to style his models with feminine and casual elegance.
To be quite honest, the entire show had me singing Paula Fernandes’ “Canções do vento Sul.”
… and I adore Fernandes, so I was a very happy girl during Miele’s entire runway presentation.
The final product was to vie for!
