Backstage at New York Fashion Week FW12: Diane von Furstenberg

Diane von Furstenberg is the epitome of trendy grace and eloquent style.

I adore her and this season is no different.

Von Furstenberg’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection was meant to be seductive, bold and daring.

To create a strong, confident and feminine look, Orlando Pita of PHYTO styled the hair shiny with a deep side part (something we’ve seen countless times this season on the runway,) tightly gathered in a low chignon.

Appropriately titled “Rendezvous,” the collection called for James Kaliardos of MAC to create deep smokey eyes, perfectly nude skin, well-defined brows and rosey lips (something else we’ve seen a lot of this season.)

Makeup Products Used (all by MAC Cosmetics):

  • Matchmaster Foundation
  • Pro Longwear Eye Shadow in Lingering Softly
  • MAC Clear Gloss (for eyelids)
  • Lip Pencil in Soar
