For his S/S 2012 CTR show in Paris, Jean Paul Gaultier did just that.
From her winged eyes, to the beauty mark, to the ciggies, to her beehive — Amy was in da houseee!
The collection’s all around ode to the 1950s-inspired songstress was complete with Fred Perry-esque allusions, eye-popping
colour and strange little oddities befitting a very typical Gaultier.
Our favourite piece definitely had to be the neon pink Auntie Mame meets Sarah Brightman’s Harem chic hooded-dress.
Between it’s heavy embroidery and larger-than-life earrings, we think we found Goddess.
It is like Yves Saint Laurent Provocative Pink lipstick going on a date with Urban Decay’s Gunmetal eyeshadow.
So in the words of Miss Spears, “Gimme more!”

We were also quite enamored with the red and black snake-skin printed, red corset accessorized with a trendy green clutch.
While, we could do without the rest for our personal tastes, the accentuated faux-ruffle cups and small flair at the bottom hem are truly delicious.
But the whole, dead-bride-rebel-with-a-cause-of-Tim-Burton-veil ensemble — yes, we can do without that, thanks.
We love a good wedge.
So a good wedge with a platform on the toe, laced-up around the ankle and curved to perfection?
We’re so loving these babies.
More lace?

This one simply made us think of Miranda Priestly in a sexy power suit.
