Autumn/Winter 2012: Versace Menswear

If you paid attention to the Versace collaboration with H&M, between the vibrant prints, plunging cuts and short hems, you probably were, like me, curious to see what the Italian label would produce for the runway.

Disappoint, Donatella Versace certainly did NOT.

Excess, theatrics, bold use of colour and a nearly subversive-military reference were in.

How very 1980s motorcycle-bar.

The collection was undoubtedly unhindered with productions such as a pair of leather trousers with a patch of denim on the crotch and a studded jacket that sported a bright yellow shearling collar.

But the male bodysuits in floral red?

We’re rather forget our eyes ever laid eyes upon those.

No, thank you.

The accessories, however, yes, please.
