Little Pink Mixology: 5 Devilish Halloween Martinis

By: Ashley Bryce and Liana Cole

“Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and caldron bubble.” Halloween is the time pull out the cauldron and brew magical potions. Halloween is also a time to party with witches and vampires, to interact with ghost and ghouls, and to party with the undead.

But since we are mere mortals I have five martinis that are sure to get you into the Halloween spirit.

Candy Corn Martini

  • ¾ oz vanilla vodka
  • ½ oz butterscotch schnapps
  • ½ oz cream
  • 2 oz orange juice
  • Candy corn

Fill bottom of martini glass with candy corn and place into freezer to chill. Pour 1/2 cup of ice into shaker, then spirits, and Orange Juice. Shake and pour into glass. Garnish with 2 pcs of Candy Corn skewered on a plastic sword.

The Lady and The Vampire Martini

  • 2 oz Vodka
  • 5 tbsp. Fresch Tomato Juice
  • 2 dashes Tabasco
  • Dash Simple Syrup
  • ¼ cup of freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
  • Witches finger for decoration

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with crushed ice. Add the vodka, fresh tomato juice, Tabasco, syrup and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Cover and shake. The tomato juice should begin to foam a bit and get cloudy inside the cocktail shaker. Using a strainer, pour the tomato and lemon martinis into chilled martini glasses. Garnish each glass with witches finger.

The Candy Bar Martini

  • 1oz vodka
  • 1oz chocolate liqueur
  • 1oz caramel liqueur
  • 1/2 oz cream
  • Caramel
  • Snack size Snickers bar

Rim inside of martini glass with caramel then set in freezer to chill with snickers bar. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with crushed ice. Add vodka, cream, chocolate and caramel liqueur. Shake. Pour into glass. Garnish with snickers bar.

The Spider Web Martini

  • 1oz vodka
  • 3oz cherry coke
  • ½ oz black cherry liqueur
  • Dash grenadine
  • Spider rings

Pour ingredients into chilled glass. Garnish with spider rings and serve.

The Tootsie Pop Martini

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 3 oz strawberry vodka
  • Dash strawberry syrup
  • Cocoa powder for the rim
  • Tootsie pop

Rim martini glass with cocoa powder and set in freezer to chill. Fill shaker half way with ice pour in spirits and shake. Strain into glass and garnish with a tootsie pop.
