The Harry Potter world would not be as magical if it wasn’t for the professors at Hogwarts Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The students are taught to brew, to charm, to transfigure, to take care of magical plants, and to defend themselves against the darkest arts.
Without these amazing teachers Harry would not have learned the hardest of lessons.
I dedicate these drinks to Harry’s greatest advisers.
The Albus Dumbledore
Dumbledore was the greatest wizard of his time discovering the twelve uses of dragons blood, winning the great duel against Grindelwald, and becoming the Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot.
While he is known to many for his greatness and legendary power, he is best known for being a kind and gentle leader and an even greater friend.
A lemon drop is best for this great but a bit mad hero who loves the lemon drop Muggle candy.

- ½ oz Triple sec
- Splash Sweet and Sour
- 1 tbsp sugar

- Garnish maraschino cherry
- Fill martini glass with cold water and place in freezer for 2 minutes to chill.
- Combine vodka, triple sec, and sweet and sour into a shaker
- Rim glass with sugar
- Pour contents of shaker into glass

The Remus Lupin
Lupin was a close friend to both Sirius Black and James Potter being one of the four founders of the Marauders.
He became a great teacher to Harry Potter during his time as a professor at Hogwarts.
Despite being a werewolf he was gentle and smart.
A coffee drink is perfect for this tired fighter.
- 1 ½ oz Frangelico

- 1 oz Kahlua
- 4 oz Coffee
- Dash Cream
- Whipped Cream
- Brew coffee.
- Combine coffee, Frangelico, Kahlua, and Bailey’s.
- Add cream to taste.
- Top with whipped cream.
The Minerva McGonagall
McGonagall was the intimidating yet fair as her post as Head of Gryffindor House, Deputy Headmistress, and professor of Transfiguration.
She was serious and stern but taught with immense passion, showed no favoritism although she was a proud Gryffindor and hated to see her House Quidditch team lose.
A cool tea drink is perfect for this well respected teacher.
- 2 oz Vodka
- 6 oz Earl Grey or choice tea
- Dash Syrup
- 1 oz lemon juice
- Garnish lemon
- 2 mint leaves
- Combine all ingredients into a tall class.
- Garnish with mint leaves and lemon.
The Severus Snape
Snape is one of the most misunderstood characters in the whole of Harry Potter.
He has a cool intellect, talented in potions and is extremely knowledgeable of the dark arts.
His unrequited love of Lily Potter leads to his bravery and great sacrifices.
Harry Potter calls him, “the bravest man I ever knew.”
The old-fashioned is perfect for this dark knight.
- 2 oz Bourbon
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Tsp Sugar
- Splash Water
- Garnish 2 maraschino cherries
- Muddle the sugar and bitters together in an old-fashioned cocktail glass.
- Add some ice, water, and bourbon.
