Lancôme Launches Genes Day Fundraiser

With the transition to your fall wardrobe nearly complete yet another new purchase may be the farthest thing from your mind– and wallet.

This Friday Lancôme is rolling out its Genes Day; a one day fundraiser in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

According to a recent press release Lancôme stated that, “in celebration of the beauty of scientific research, [Lancôme] will donate $7 from each bottle of their latest skin care breakthrough, Génifique Youth Activating Concentrate, sold that day to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to support research and treatment”.

St. Jude is recognized globally for its revloutionary work in finding cures and treating children with both cancer and other catastrophic diseases. St. Jude is also the first and only pediatric cancer center to be designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute.

St. Jude has made it its mission to care for those in need. It is the only pediatric cancer research center where families are not required to pay for treatments not covered by insurance; thus no child is ever denied care because of their family’s inability to pay.

Why this particular Lancôme product you ask?

Well, Lancôme’s Génifique Youth Activating Concentrate knows the value of scientific research. It is actually the final product of ten years worth of research and the recipient of seven international patents.
