Leading into Season Four, which premieres on Sunday July 25, 2010 at 10 p.m. on AMC, the network has released a string of “A Fresh Start…” teaser clips.
But be warned, if you have never seen the show before, the teasers for the new season contain spoilers of the past three:-
Season Three gave birth to the Mad Men‘s take on humility, the human condition (or stain — depending on how you want to ‘spin’ it) and a change in the American landscape (civil rights, the assassination of John F. Kennedy etc.) through the eyes and lives of its characters.
There was homophobia in the workplace intertwined with frustrations, betrayals, loss and corporate politics.
Sound familiar?
Audiences witness the self-destruction of Don Drapers reaching it’s hilt, spiraling down into near oblivion thanks to his confrontation with wife Betty as she forced him to reveal the truth about his past and identity. They were also privy to the the resale of advertising agency Sterling Cooper, by its parent company Putnam, Powell and Lowe, resulting in its partners seeking an ‘out’ and creating the new Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce.
With the consequences of revealed secrets and a evolving world around them, Mad Men Season Four will take viewers straight into Thanksgiving 1964, with an episode titled, “Public Relations,” or as journalists would probably like to rename it, “The Dark Side.”
Characters can be expected to continue to be redefined as the series moves along through history questioning traditional norms of the past (which still are battled today) and social frustrations between men and women alongside the compelling, provocative and resilient storylines it has come to be known for.
The award-winning cast of, Golden Globe-winner Jon Hamm, January Jones, Elisabeth Moss, Vincent Kartheiser, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, Jared Harris, Rich Sommer, Aaron Staton, Robert Morse, and Kiernan Shipka return.

Thanks for the clips. I can't wait and I still need to see seasons one and half of two. One of these days soon. LOL!
