The internet is such a great place to discover new things — especially music & comedy! These two are nothing short of awesomeness πŸ™‚

SAM TSUI

If you follow me on Twitter, you probably saw that I discovered this guy named Sam Tsui via YouTube and became mildly obsessed with his music. He’s reeks of Glee! And behold! I ended up clicking on link after link after link of his to find out that he was a part of the open auditions/casting calls that Glee held in Spring 2010 on MySpace.

My first thoughts when I heard him where, “Susan Boyle move over!”

He’s produced by his friend Kurt Hugo Schneider, is a part of The Duke’s Men of Yale (founded in 1952) and is known for his multi-vocal performances. His videos have a total of over 40 million views on YouTube. Oh yeah, and by the way, he was on Oprah πŸ™‚

Go Sam!

Anyway, I wanted to share Sam’s music with you:

The Michael Jackson Medley

Glee’s version of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'”

Owl City’s Fireflies

Jay Sean’s “Down”

Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now”

Isn’t he just fabulous? I can’t wait to hear the original stuff Sam and Kurt come up with in the future. They’ve definitely found a fan in the Pink Book πŸ™‚

Oh and just one more, Kurt Hugo Schneider also produced this awesome little Taylor Swift number for Tiffany Alvord with the same concepts he used for all of Sam’s stuff:-

FELICIA DAY

Speaking of Internet sensations and all things fabulous, take a look at Felicia Day, webstress extraordinary and founder of The Guild.

Her little video (well, it’s not that little considering it has over nine million views on YouTube) is pure geek and pokes fun (in a good way) of the Massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG).

You know — like those folks who have relationships on Second Life…

Anyway, The Guild is an award-winning webseries that has gotten sponsorship from both the likes of Microsoft and XBox.

Sensation? Why, yes!
