I LOVE how far Little Pink Book has come. From Harry Potter to Darcy your post have kept me entertained. While I may not agree with everything, your post are worth the daily trip to your blog.

    Love you Sasha xx

  2. You're right I LOVE it!

My favorite part about LBP is that you always have an opinion. I can't say I agree with you always, but you're arguments are always well thought out and substantiated and sometimes you even change my mind which is nearly impossible to do! Plus, i adore your mix of pop culture, advertising, PR and girliness.

    So glad you're in my neck of the woods now so we can hang out :}

Little Pink Book is a great blog, colorful, upbeat, positive, spirited. A blessed happy birthday and many many more.

  4. Congratulations on the Little Pink Book's 1st anniversary!!

It's been a wonderful year. I have enjoyed many posts from PR and advertising commentary, to contemplating the generational divide to beauty and style tips. Sasha, you always offer a fresh perspective, and I thank you for that. Here's to many more birthday celebrations with Little Pink Book!

  5. Congratulations! Wow, one year already huh! That's amazing!

What a like about your blog is the easy going reading and it rhymes with my attempt to understand the girl:ish things in the world so I can become a better father to my now 5 year old. 🙂

She's just started trying out make-up and I can't understand she's growing up so fast. She would love that make-up box for sure. 🙂

On the downside…what I don't like (in lack of a smoother more gentle word) is the small columns (Main Article and Side Bar) cause it makes the blog look a little cramped and I get a closed in feeling. But that's the only thing I can come to think about.

Keep up the great work and once again, Congratulations Sasha on such huge milestone!!

  6. Happy birthday Little Pink Book!!! I LOVE that LPB has a variety topics that are always current and what everyone is thinking about. Although my schedule has gotten a little busier than normal, I always make time to read LPB. It's one of the reasons I decided to start blogging. Sasha you are a great example of mixing PR and every day life within a blog

  7. valeriesimon says:

Congratulations Sasha… quite a journey indeed and I am so glad I have had the chance to come along via the Little Pink Book (and a fabulous lunch). Your passion always shines through and your posts have even made it to our dinner table as the starting point for some interesting debates. Thanks for sharing and making me feel like such a welcome member of your community!

  8. Happy Birthday, LPB and Congrats, Sasha!

I enjoy LPB for its upbeat, yet critical look at communications and public relations, pop culture, and advertising. I love your insights on these issues, Sasha!

I could, however, do without the iStyle and #MusicMonday sections. I generally just scroll through them on my GReader. Then again, I'm a guy, and very much not into fashion, haha, so take that for what it's worth!

Thanks for always offering great content, Sasha!

  9. Happy Birthday LPB and congrats! I have enjoyed reading your blog and watching your journey. I have been entertained and educated with your posts! Keep up the great work 🙂

I love everything about 'Little Pink Book!!!' From the design…to the photos…to the inspirational quotes everday!

I may not have a chance to read it everyday, but when I do get to read, it's like my little breath of fresh air! I often think the 'Little Pink Book' daily reads should be combined with a cocktail and a little tiny umbrella!

All the best on your 1st of many birthdays!

  11. stephmajercik says:

    First of all…HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

What I enjoy most about the Little Pink Book is the variety of all the posts. You have a great mix of PR related topics, along with fashion and pop culture, and things that are interesting to you! I'm a relatively new reader, discovered Little Pink Book at the end of last year, but I always look forward to what you are posting. And #MusicMondays are my favorite…you always pick the best music!!

  12. I love that every time I visit your blog, I am entertained and yet manage to learn something. The variety of content always keeps me coming back for more.

  13. Happy birthday!!! Heh, I don't want to get in trouble. I like how you cover such a wide range of topics. I loathe how girly and unmanly the color pink is. And I love me some Sasha ;).

  14. MarielleSflPR says:

Loves about Little Pink Book: timeliness, relevancy, interesting topics, FB updates & Tweets about new blog posts, and your innovativeness in starting it! Happy bday LPB!

  15. Happy Birthday to you,
    Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday Dear Little Pink Book,
    Happy Birthday to you!!!!

Like: The amazingly adorable uber-chic style tips that appear. The article about dressing as a socialite definitely made me 🙂

LOVE: How you are a true believer in Social Media and you practice what your preach. If/When I post a comment, you respond. If/When I re-tweet at post, you thank me. When you write a post about something you think I'd be interested in, you let me know. You really embrace Social Media as your lifestyle and you haven't really changed your tactics or slowed down just because your blog has become a success. And that is what I love, Love, LOVE about you and your Little Pink Book!

  16. Congratulations, here's to future multiples of 365! (happy anniversary) and thanks for doing this thank you drawing, very unexpected except from one of the savvy social media users I enjoy following. What I like about LPB, your posts are energetic, nice writing, and I appreciate the community aspect of your posts; for example when you are breaking down a PR misstep and include best practices that could remedy the situation, the presentation draws in the reader to see your point of view while at the same time the reader feels comfortable to chime in if he/she differs.

  17. Amanda Dickson says:

I have really enjoyed reading your blog over the past few months. What I like best is your combining your experience from work and as a consumer to take a look at PR as it is constantly evolving. I feel like what you write is very relevant.

My favorite thing? I enjoy the links you share on Twitter and most of all your tweets about missing Florida- I am living and working in PA and I really miss my parents and brother in FL as well, so I feel you on that one girl!

  18. The layout still bugs me a bit – the blog post side is much too small making it claustrophobic to read on site. Also, I feel bad for men and all the pink – lol 😉

Loved your Suicide posts best and the PR mistakes you see and how you'd fix them.

    Happy Birthday LPB!

  19. Neville & Hazra says:

Happy Birthday Sasha's “Little Pink Book”. Keep up the good work on your journey, you make us proud. Love your work. You are the most positive, open, flexible, curious and enthusiastic person we know. Love You.
“Two kittens are better than one, more fun and no more trouble. Pass it on”.
    Love always Neville and Hazra.

  20. congrats! I just love how up beat this is! And I love that you are unique.. I love it!

  22. brendahelgeson says:

I love your blog, from the design to the care you give your readers

  23. Happy blog Bday Sasha! Congrats on a wonderful blog. I love Little Pink Book because you're not scared to put it all out there and share your opinions. I enjoy your posts and am glad we met through Twitter! Here's to another fabulous blogging year!!!

  24. I randomly discovered LPB at the beginning of this year and instantly fell in love with it and consistently check back.

Here's why: it's a blog with relevant information for PR/Marketing/everyday women like me, with topics that I care about, and a unique, intelligent perspective on them.

You and I share a similar passion for writing as I too have a blog (http://jennifer-callahan.com) and know that it begins solely with dedication and desire to write, then come what may.

I commend you for setting an example for our generation about what you can make happen for yourself when you believe in your own dreams.

  25. Britta_G says:

Happy Birthday Little Pink Book! Wow a whole year?! That's so awesome! I only recently began reading this blog a few months ago and instantly fell in love with it and shared it with all of my PR friends.

First I love the writing, it's real, raw, and so far 100% accurate. In PR we tend to be so wishy washy, and politically correct to everyone and “PR” everyone around us, even people in our personal lives. This is why I like this blog, it tells it like it is and “goes there.”

Also the whole “Little Pink Book” theme is the cutest, and with the PR industry being predominantly female, it's a good look!

I can't believe how many uniques this blog received in just one month, and then just one year – it's great! I wish you nothing but a successful future, and growth! Can't wait to see where you go next 🙂

  26. katiefarrell says:

Really liked your post about how social media is a lifestyle and not a campaign — and the examples from how companies have used it to their advantage!

  27. Happy Birthday Little Pink Book and Congrats to you Sasha!!!
What I love the most is that we have a lot of the same things in common. From HP to Doctor Who, I've always enjoyed our movie and tv talks. And of course your style and makeup reviews I enjoy.

    Congrats and Happy Birthday again!

  28. Happy Birthday LPB! Sasha – I love that we share the same interests in PR, pop culture, fashion and beauty topics. I always find your posts to be relevant and interesting! Keep it up 🙂

  29. elissafreeman says:

    Happy birthday to youuuuuuuu!
Here's why The Little Pink Book is a blog-girl's best friend:
    *It's bursting with pop culture
    *Graphically it has personality
*Sasha is unafraid to voice her opinions on the latest and not always so-greatest
*She accepts critique & opposition with style and grace
    Here's to LBP's 1st birthday…and many more!

  30. Congrats on a year, Sasha!

I think your blog has great insight and a lot of personality. I would prefer easier navigation and a wider frame for content as each page gets long with the scrolling.

  31. Happy birthday Little Pink Book!

Congratulations Sasha! What an amazing achievement. Your blog is one of the few that perfectly fuses PR and pop culture.

My favorite post of the year was about Jonathan Cheban and Command PR. You told it like it is: Command PR and Jonathan's work is NOT PR. I was impressed with your writing style and depth of thought. Definitely my favorite, although many others come close.

Also love the “pink book” design. You have branded yourself well!

Here's to another year of Little Pink Book.

  32. Hello Sasha and readers!

Little Pink Book is the reason I met Sasha in the first place! After reading, I invited Sasha to come talk to the University of Miami PRSSA about what she obviously knows best: blogging! And she did! (Thanks again!)

I love LPB's Rules of PR 🙂 On the other hand, I'm not quite a fan of the movie critiques… (some of the titles I just don't understand). Any post on PR though – I love it because it's usually PR student friendly/easy to read/designed with bullets or numbers, lol.

My absolute favorite post is the one Sasha wrote when she finally landed her dream job in NYC. That post still inspires me today and will continue to carry me through this job hunt.

Happy Birthday Little Pink Book! I wish you many more years of success!

  33. i am in LOVE with the layout of the little pink book! it is not like any other blog and i love it for that 🙂

although it may seem a little crowded with information at times…that is better than being bare! i love all the pictures and unique topics

  34. Happy Birthday!! I looove reading the Little Pink Book, and following Sasha on Twitter… you have such insightful things to say and I love learning about all your tricks of the trade!

My favorite thing about Little Pink Book, however, has gotta be the layout. It's sooo clever! I actually feel like I'm reading a book, instead of another boring, plain website. I actually get excited when I click my “Little Pink Book” shortcut icon!

Here's to another successful year 🙂
