Oh what a night! Early February back in 2010 …
If you’ve been following the Pink Book since April 2009 or tuned in around the summer of 2009 you’d know by now that I’m obsessed with the music of Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons.
I’ve seen Jersey Boys twice, wrote a review on the show and also have made their music a #MusicMonday!
Well, dearies, my mum’s best friend, Alicia, knows how much I love them and Alicia and my parents got fifth row Frankie Valli tickets for me to see them!
The concert was on February 10, 2010 at the Seminole Hard Rock Live down in South Florida and it was fan-tab-u-lous!
Ah, I loved it and I also question if I was born in the wrong decade, lol.
Touring with four young (and I might add very good looking and hot) new Four Seasons (Todd Fournier, Brian Brigham, Brandon Brigham, and Landon Beard), Mr. Valli hasto be the most energetic 70-something I’ve ever seen. That and he sounds exactly as my CDs do! It’s like watching an amazing blast from the past as this adorable, little old Italian man with two earrings sings his heart out as if he’s not a day over 30.
Actually, one of my favourite things about the show was that the choreography was the same, if not exceedingly similar, to Jersey Boys. So if you’ve seen the Broadway show — watching Frankie Valli on this post-2008 tour with the four cuties new Four Seasons, is like watching a real version of Jersey Boys!
