This is my favourite Jackson 5 song…ever. Every single time I see an old video like this of Michael Jackson as a small kiddie, I think about how talented he was and how sad his life was.
I’ve always been one of those people who didn’t judge happiness by wealth or status and Michael Jackson was a prime example of that. The man had everything but yet was so troubled.
I don’t think anyone back in 1969 would have imagined that cute, little boy, who was picked up by Diana Ross and taken outside of Gary, Indiana — well, I don’t think anyone would have ever conceived that his life would have turned out the way it was.
It’s like watching two people when you think about how he turned out.
Either way, regardless of what and how things went for him, the bad as well as the good — this is I personally would prefer to think of and remember a musical Michael Jackson.
