{Beautirati} I Touch Roses: Spidergirl & some Eurphoria

Have you ever come across something that exceeded whatever expectations you set for it? Well, that was me with a mineral makeup brand called I Touch Roses. It’s my new favourite eye shadow brand.

It’s afforable, lively, rich in colour and flat-out awesome! If you have ever used MAC and know anything about pigments – then you’ll completely understand where I am coming from when I say this – this has the pigment of MAC products.

It’s really rare that I come across a brand and would automatically feel comfortable purchasing their products just like that – I would do that with I Touch Roses.

{Also, I have to tell you, I’m really excited because these pictures are awesome. There is a setting on my camera (that I’ve had for two years and didn’t know this feature existed!) called “Macro” and it’s for super close ups! On this setting it doesn’t flash so you adjust how much light the camera lets in, the type of light etc. Well, yea, now that I learned this feature – my makeup shots, as you’ll see are going to be about 50x better than in all my other posts!}

Alrighty – the palette that I swatched onto my arm (I based my arm with MAC’s shell cream coloured base by the way):-

Swatch of the colours

Left hand side:-
Phobia (burnt orange)
Story (sparkly blue)
Mercy (Cranberry w/ some red)
Automatic (red) <– I LOVE this colour, omg!!!
PJM (sunny deep mustard)
Walk in Beauty (fantastical gold) <– LOVE this one too!

Right hand side:-
Disco (copper gold)
Touch Roses <– signature colour of brand.
11:11 (deep, lapis like purple)
Alone (bright, lively, electric purple) <– LOVE this!
Surprise (rosey, purple pink – almost a brighter version of Touch of Roses)

LOOK: Fire.

The first look is called “Fire.”

Used Automatic, Surprise, Mercy, Walk in Beauty and a little bit of Touch of Roses. The Glitter is MAC Liquidlast, mascara is Diorshow Blackout.

LOOK: Futuristic Ice.

Second look started off being called “Ice,” but ended up more like “Futuristic Ice.”

Used Story, lots of Walk in Beauty, lots of MAC Magic Dust shadow to highlight, MAC Smolder pencil to line, MAC fluidline in Blacktrack to darken, topped off with MAC pigment Black Black. That’s how you get it THAT black. Mascara is Diorshow Blackout.

LOOK: Rose.

Brand is called I Touch Roses, so I HAD to do a rose look! So here is “Rose.”

Used Touch of Roses, Surprise, Mercy, Walk in Beauty and a little bit of PJM. Highlighted w/ MAC Magic Dust. Bottom lid in MAC Humid, MAC Juxt and a little bit of PJM. Mascara is Diorshow Blackout.

LOOK: Spidergirl

“Spidergirl,” don’t ask me why I felt like making a Marvel Spiderman look, I just did, lol. Maybe I’ll do another one, with more planning come Halloween.

Used Story, Automatic, Walk in Beauty, Natural Cosmetics White, and Clinque Glitter Dust no.3. Pencils are MAC Fascinating and MAC Smolder. Eyes lined in MAC fluidline in Blacktrack then dabbed over with MAC Pigment in Black Black. Mascara is Diorshow Blackout.

If you like strong pigments, know how to wield an eye shadow brush and are looking for something, new safe, mineral and just awesome – get yourself some I Touch Roses. I highly recommend it!

On a side note, I Touch Roses also makes perfume! And you know I like rose scented stuff – anyway, a signature scent, the Touch Roses scent is gorgeous. It’s like, airy, rose-infused and I like it a lot! Also, they brand carries this really nice face moisturizer called Skin Eurphoria. I put it on after I washed my face when I came home as a moisturizer. It smells really great, doesn’t leave your skin feeling oily and is just a really comfortable base to have on your face.

  2. I met Ahna a couple of years ago online, and she first introduced me to Etsy. I have used and enjoyed her eye shadows for a long time. They are rich and long-lasting, and bring out the hidden faery in me. I'd also like to mention that she makes delicious incense and her Skin Euphoria is a great treat for hands and face. Not only that, but her jewelry is AMAZING! You will love it all ~ Namaste.

  3. I do have some of Ahna's products and they are great!

I met Ahna through her jewelry, and delight in her many talents – and love the eye shadows! Terrific colors, excellent color density, and great variety! I can honestly recommend any of her products without hesitation.

  7. I was tempted to try her products as I am slowly going through and reviewing most etsy sellers (except obvious resellers). However after following her on twitter to find out of any sales she started contacting me which later lead to her attacking my blog. Which seemed odd as I had never even mentioned her there nor tried any of her products. Was just odd and really turned me off!

  8. I'm sorry to hear that Violet. But I do like her eye shadows. They are very
bright and last for the entire day dry or wet. Most of the time I don't use
them wet…all the photos above are the shadows dry and just have a primer

Which makeup blog do you run, btw? I'd love to check out some of your
reviews. I'm new to mineral makeup too!
