Haha, I like my title. Anyway, I digress before I even start – in my morning rush to get out of the house today, I accidentally picked up white eye shadow instead of the neutral beige I wanted.

You know those mornings where you don’t even realize what you’re doing because you have so many thoughts rummaging through your little brain? Yea, that was me today.

By the time it dawned on me, I was in the car, the sunlight hitting my face, my sunglasses at home and quite noticeably I realized what I did…white eye shadow highlighting my eyes. The thing is…I really liked it!

So from me to you, an accidental {Beautirati Look}:

Eyes: Diorshow Blackout Mascara, MAC Amber Lights, Natural Cosmetics mineral/vegan white, MAC Teddy eye liner, MAC Beautyburst, MAC Shell cream coloured base
Lips: MAC Oh Baby Lip glass
Cheeks: Stila 1959 Pinup Barbie Blush

How to eyes:

Lightly base entire eye lid with Shell or other cream colour base of your choice. Or nothing at all. Depends on your preference.

Take a relatively fluffy eye shadow brush and generously swipe Amber Lights over your lid.

Amber Lights all over lid.

When satisfied, take a bit of Beautyburst or other similar darker brown shadow, and blend evenly into your crease, never dropping down into the outer corners on the lid of your eye.

Thinner brush -- into crease.

Take fluffy eye shadow brush and highlight eyes, above your crease, with white shadow. Make sure it is light, even and well blended.

Apply Teddy eyeliner and your mascara, then lastly, highlight lower lid and inner corners of eye with Amber Lights AFTER you have applied your mascara and it has dried.

Highlighting w/ more Amber Lights

Apply Oh Baby lipglass without liner. Lightly brush blush on your cheeks and you’re set.

It’s natural, it’s fun, it’s sparkly and the visible white is pretty hot.

ta da! w/ white eye shadow 🙂
