Sarah Palin recently announced that she is resigning from being governor of Alaska.

During the press conference, Palin mentioned that she thought she could use her talents and experience outside of the governorship. Later, harkening back to her high school basketball years, Palin stated that “[she] know[s] when it’s time to pass the ball for victory.”
